I wonder where we are in regards to FFP, how much budget we have left to get in the 6/7 that are now needed, although probably about 4 will be loans I expect anyway not sure if they count in the budget

why would we want another injury prone player we have enough now that are all like glass. We must have the softest bunch of players in this league and another one we don't want and I cant believe people are even suggesting it on here.

we want good hardened pro's that have been there and done it and can carry our team through a game we only need two good pro's one defensively and one in midfield and i'm surprised we haven't got one in yet. Im wondering if what we've heard from LP and TS if its all a smoke screen and I wonder whether we will get experienced players in or not or more kids because in our position and the crap we are playing we need them now and not the end of January as we always do and then we get the left overs that no one wants.

This has been the most depressing season I can remember - no atmosphere in the CG - crap team on the pitch - poor away followings and Power banning the local press it is all depressing stuff. To cap it all we need to win 10 more games to stay up and with this current squad we have no chance so unless LP wants L2 football he has to bite the bullet and get some quality players in.

Yes we need 2 proper players, who know the game. However we've been here before and have been told they're too expensive.  I think anyone expecting experience will be disappointed. By my calcs we need to win 7 and draw 6, to get the magic 52. This leaves room for 8 defeats.

Given our terrible away form, the trip, to Bury may present the best posibility of a win on the road, maybe draws at Cobblers, Vale and possibly Walsall.  That though places extreme pressure on the home form...we'd need 6 wins and 3 draws, allowing for only 3 further defeats, so unlikely.   The away form simply has to improve, or we're gone.

Whilst I agree in general terms with your gloomy outlook, you have to factor in that the clubs currently below us have to improve that bit more than us. The only thing in our favour at the moment is that there are, indeed, some real shite in this league.

True, but Cov have brought in some experience, so may revive.  Shrews have shown the odd good result, like winning at Millwall....Oldham always seem to be down there at this time of year, normally survive, maybe this is their year. Bury look in trouble, and Chesterfield, who knows, we know hanging on to Danny Wilson isn't always the correct decision.

Could equally be another couple of teams dragged into it. Northampton and Port Vale look in quite precarious positions

4 wins on the bounce and we'd be out of it. Can't see us doing that, but it's that simple. Get 4  cracking Brazilians in for a month at 30k a week, job done Wink

But no that's not true. If you take the last 6 games form and use that we'd get relegated. Probably true of the last 10 TBH.

Obviously that's a stupid thing to do mind Smiley
