Swansea are very much in the relegation mix, if Yas, helped keep them up then a mill, is Prem loose change.  They would be just about be the only club in the Prem, who might like his style, so perhaps not completely ridiculous.

Would have thought it depends who guarantees first team football. They won't want him sat on someone else's bench like he was for the first half of the season.

True enough, but at this stage of the season you don't normally take players to bench them...

One paper yesterday said Swansea we prepared to pay £1m for Kasim. Considering he would be available on a free in 5 months...I very much doubt it.

I Million for Kasim!!! I'd show my arse in Burtons window if we got anywhere near that amount for him.
Drifts out of games more than he drifts in, only plays when it suits him. Lower league Berahino sulky shit bag when he doesn't get his own way.
Let him go we have a decent midfield, use his wages on a CB.
As for Smith, can't you only play for two sides in a season?  If that's the case then he can only join Barnsley, otherwise let him go did he doesn't want to be here and it will free up more wages.

Frankly i'd be amazed if they were interested, be one of the weirdest transfers ever.

If he'd have carried on in the same vein as Aug-Jan last year then you could see someone coming in for him.

I dismissed the whole thing. There's quite a lot of chat though, still reckon watching him and bidding for him are miles apart. We'll know in about 9 hours time.

Beg to differ on that Reg. I'm sure there will be some managers looking to add strength in depth to their squad, just like any other time. It'll ultimately be down to Southampton. I'd say we're in with a shout....
