He scored 8 in 27 in a struggling Crewe side last season.

He kept them up I think.

I reckon Ajose would fit into this Town squad better than the squad he was in before.

I dont really get the Ajose love in to be honest

He is turning into this years Billy Bodin or Miles Storey (Actually is Miles Storey this years Miles Storey?)

He got most of those in a burst at the start, and barely scored in the last 1/3rd of the season.

Surely we need cover for Beaker not another Byrne-sized player.

He's decent enough, but if we're going to play 1 up front flanked Byrne and Paris, where would he play.

Unless Byrne is likely to go soon

Hylton won't be a starter.

I don't feel Hylton will be a starter for every game. I think he'll do a Gladwin. Start when needed to cover injury, and be a very regular substitute where his performances will impress so much he'll be a starter.

If smith goes we will definitely need some height back. So I'd rather we prioritised getting another 6'5" striker back in the squad.

If we are playing 3 up top with Obika in the centre, and two off him, I think he will start unless we add to the squad. Byrne will be on the right, but can't see many other contenders for the left, certainly not Smith, Randell possibly but he's even less experienced.

Just saw that, to be honest with what's gone on at Trent Bridge, they could have got away with Kasim to O****d this morning.

If he goes I'm not sure if I'm that bothered if he goes or not. He's a bit of a hot and cold player in my eyes.

Depends who we replace him with I guess. We'd certainly miss him without replacing him. That would be disastrous IMO.

If he goes, I do hope we have a replacement lined up. With him and Williams going that's a fair few goals that have been taken away from the side.
That said, he he very hot and cold, as said above, and obviously doesn't want to be here.

Shame, but he's far from irreplaceable.

I wonder if this opens the door again for Storey to at least be included in the squad for Saturday, or is that a completely burned bridge now?

Apparently he just wants to move up North. Just doesn't like being down here. So I'm not sure about Smith's 'injuries' recently being legit.

Storey is gone, he will not play for us, nor should he as he's not good enough.

Could we sell Smith get Ajose in? Feel like we need another target man type to compete directly with Obika.
