A non starter - he will not drop down a league and would have to take a wage cut.
Bristol City have beat us to the signing of a player from Arsenal - Jordan Wynter. He impressed in a trial match last month but we would only offer a year deal. Fits the mould of what we are looking for - young and upcoming players.

No need to drive him there, he bought himself a lovely new Merc when he joined us - cracking motor it is.
I'm undecided on him. If KMac puts his own 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation in, he'll work really well, we saw it last season - he just doesn't fit a 4 man midfield.

Yeah, from what I've seen he's cracking as a defensive mid, just rubbish in your typical 4-4-2. I was excited about his signing at the start of the season, it's just a shame injury and selection meant he never played a part. I probably would have gone with him over Tommy miller a lot of the time but c'est la vie. If Louis Thompson is about next season, I can see him taking over Navarro/miller's/mcCormack's role. |
