Makes you wonder what can be classed as "really bad news" considering we still have 13 days to get out the embargo till the loan window shuts.

Since Sam mentioned the " really bad news" he has said " I don't know which way the news will go later, hoping it will be all good re: embargo" It sounds like he's suggesting there could be bad news regardless, and said " let's address that if it happens, shall we " when asked what the really bad news could be.

Hmm, that could be possible. No doubt the FL would put an embargo under us until the whole sorry thing was sorted out.

This would be bad news. Really bad news would be a FL points deduction/demotion for financial irregularities In all seriousness I hope it's just Sam being a journo and over doing it a bit.

Hmmmm...... tis my fear. Can't help fearing the worst. It's good being a pessimist - At least if it's not the worst case scenario then thing's are generally better than you expect, but if it is as feared then at least you get the 'satisfaction'* of being correct.... * PS before anyone says anything - I would get no satisfaction at all from the worst case scenario in this case!

I'll take Di Canio suing us being the bad news if the good news is the embargo being lifted. The 'really' bad bit has certainly got me worrying though.

Personally, being too pessimistic early on just makes me feel more miserable for longer. When the bad news does arrive it's not like you feel any better about it.

Just hypothetically, if PdC made a claim against the club, would that constitute a football debt that would have to be cleared before the FL would lift the embargo? If it was, it could take months/years assuming the club contested it - which I'm sure they would.

No as it would be against the new board, not the old.
