Looked a very good player for Bournemouth in the season we got relegated, think he scored against us in the 3-2 defeat at their place. Hopefully he comes good and helps us on a good run!

Completely agree Flash, Dossevi had a goal chalked off if I remember which would have put us 3-2 up?!

Done well to get Danny on loan, It's a bit of a strange one as he could find himself playing less and in a lower division.

Just one of many games that season that I came away from thinking that we should have won.

Sounds like a great signing though.

One thing that is quite encouraging is the reaction of the fans of the clubs we have taken players from since the PDC era began. In the past the reaction would be something like "good riddance to the 3 legged mule" and "they can bloody keep him", and nowadays players we sign or are even linked with, such as Gary Madine are generally well thought of by the fans of the club the player is coming from.

Hi, returning Charlton fan here in peace, just to say you have got yourself a quality player in Hollands . I would go as far as saying he is possibly one of the best league 1 standard players I've ever seen. I was really surprised we let him go on loan however our loss is your gain. I understand you have a strong squad however I feel Hollands would be a great edition to this. If I could give one criticism to the guy it would be he is slightly to slow for the championship however his effort and technical ability cannot be faulted. I admire him 100% as a guy and a player and wish him the best of luck with you

And no doubt the reason why Riley did not arrive...PDC probably wouldn't guarantee him a start.

Good post Swindaddict.

Never got a chance to be honest, surprised we swapped benson for him though , at least benson had a decent mentality. Like I said I can't judge Clarke but based on previous reports from many Swindon fans I don't think he's someone who you want in your squad

Swindaddick, A Glowing report and from what your saying we've got ourselves a gifted player. I'm sure you'll be keeping an eye on him whilst his with us and hopefully things work out for everyone.

Hollands can play in either a 4 33 formation or 442 , he can play the DM role or the AM role, his versatility is good. When he was pushing on in league one he looked class, he just needs another player who he can develop a central partnership with. He will undoubtedly score goals too, got a great header and a powerful shot

He is deffinately a player who becomes popular with fans , even before you see him perform his professional attitude is brilliant. Never seen him complain once when being a sub and work rate is flawless. I would say you're getting more of a holding midfielder than a playmaker, however the prospect of Hollands linking up with Ritchie is scary, it is a partnership that will open up defences. And yeah I will be looking out for the Swindon results in the next few months and would be so pleased if I saw Danny on the score sheet
