He was decent... more physical and more clinical than Connell

Bbc wilts understands james collins, gary roberts and andy williams be unveiled this afternoon

That's a serious statement of intent.

3 great signings if correct.

Trouble is, last time I got massively excited about signings they all turned out to be gash and we got relegated!

Collins would be a massive coup.  I honestly thought he'd end up in the Championship at least, for big money.

If Collins and Williams happen, then the writing is on the wall for Connell and possibly Da Vita.  4th and 5th choice there unless DaVita stays as a backup winger.

If it's those 3 I'll be beside myself. That'd be an absolutely huge statement of intent. Please make it so!

Roberts is a top signing, Williams had a good season last season, and Collins is a young lad who has done well in league two. Its a good mix for sure. Fingers crossed its accurate.

Well done town for a bit of stage management with these signings as well.

Mcevely seems to be taking time, throw him in the mix and things are looking very healthy

3 solid signings which would certainly show other teams that we mean business as long as we can fend off bids for our current top players Caddis, Ritchie and Flint during the summer then I will feel relatively confident of a decent season once again

Am I right in thinking James Collins is of the 'nasty striker' mould?

I can't remember him being nasty. He was the pacey, tricky striker who leaves defenders in knots.
