Will wait until we sign him officially before getting too excited.

Would appear having Paolo as manager is helping attract the right players.
Navarro, Williams and Roberts are all the right quality so yes you are right there.

And I never get excited about signatures until it is on the OS as we have been let down so badly in the past by rumours such as these and from fairly reliable (adver and BBC) sources..

Agree with everything you say there apart from saying that the Adver is a reliable source!!

he made the League 1 team of the year this season just gone, turned down Huddersfields offer of a new contract because he wanted a more rewarding one.

Which team of the year? - I thought he spent the latter part of last year on the bench as Grayson didn't rate - and therefore released - him, giving Danny Ward a lot more starts in his place.

Don't get me wrong though, happy to put a couple of quid on him being in this years team of the year when/if I see him on the OS, scarf aloft.

I'd be more than happy if these three sign. Add McEveley to the list and we've looking pretty strong (although another striker and keeper are surely needed.). Would we bother signing Bostock if Navorro signs?

Hudds fans seem complimentary on their forum about him

bostock and navarro are complete opposites, so i dont see one as negating the need for the other. Though post Harry who knows what the score is with Bostock.

Preseason starts next week i think so roll on signings

Bostock is a very different type of player to Navarro. Navarro doesn't really cross the half way line.

But I feel Bostock will not be coming now after Harry leaving, I think we will move on to different targets like Hayes possibly.

I do feel we will not be moving for O'Kane and Pack as they are not the quality that we need and certainly not the quality of the players we are linked with currently.

The only one I would like from last seasons league 2 would be Collins from Shrewsbury but he is apparently off to Watford.

For our starting 11 in League One, as it currently stands I see us as missing 5 key first teamers, that being a LB, ball winning CM, LW and 2 Strikers.
If our 4 "projected" signings of Andy Williams, Alan Navarro, Gary Roberts and Jay McEveley that will leave us with 4 of those 5 positions filled and a very tasty starting 11 starting to be built.
a Team of
                  Fod
Caddis  Macca  Flint  McEvely
Ritchie  Navarro  Ferry  Roberts
          Benno     Williams

Looks a top end League one team already

Just hope these signings come off now!

The suggested 4 will certainly add a lot to our team but we need more than that to get top 6, in addition i think we need

CB? Need an experienced player here i think
CM? still need a creative goal scoring player (Bostock)
SC? A Benson upgrade
GK? Back up keeper
