Alan Navarro.
He's signing for someone and I think it's us. For no reason other than he fits the experience / league winner comments that PDC has been making.
The other agent darrenl68 started followin navarro recently on twitter.

Always thought Navarro was a fat shitcunt. From memory I thought he was a weaker, slower Dougie. However, if we sign him I'll give him 2 games to prove me wrong. Also, he would look good in a Brighton team because as I understand it all they know how to do is play cautious defensive possession football.

Not a big fan of Navarro and Brighton then Barry? Whatever gave you that idea? Me and DV are, like mex, closet Brighton fans.

Dave Kitson and Liam Lawrence are on £20,000 a week according to what i've read. They were signed up almost immediately after they came out of admin the last time.
Which is exactly why i have no sympathy whatsoever for their current plight. Plus they sold us a decent homegrown product and obviously much cheaper option in Matt Richie. Obviously i'm not complaining about us obtaining last years league two player of the year but i would have thought Richie would be exactly the sort of player they should have been keeping when trying to get their finances in order. Instead they spanked another load of cash up the wall and still went down. Top management!

Not a big fan of Navarro and Brighton then Barry? I take back what I said, Brighton fans seem to rate him, so I must be mistaken. I noticed, when browsing their forum, for Navarro info, that Ninja Elephant, one time poster here, said the below: Good luck Navarro at Swindon, though with Alan McCormack already there, and the useless Simon Ferry, I think he will have a bit of a work to do to prove himself. No doubt he will though, very selfless team player.
http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?245960-Nav-signing-tomorrow&p=4965705&viewfull=1#post4965705Clearly has zero knowledge of Swindon though. McCormack, the centre mid, and Ferry, useless?!

Interesting write up about Ferry!
I must admit when Navarro was at Tranny I thought he was pretty poor but he seems to have found his form, after all he did start at Liverpool so must have something about him.

See Sam Morshead just started following Navarro on Twitter too. You're welcome Sam. Does the TEF get some sort of finders fee for that?

I think Bobs Orange deserves the finders fee TBH. King says Navarro is on trial, here is a Tranmere view of him He's a midfielder and was expected to be a star of the future when we payed Liverpool 225,000 for him in 2001-2.But then 5 games into the next season(2002-3) he was taken off against Huddersfield and after 12 months out injured,he came back a different player! He works hard and is a good tackler but wasn't good enough to be kept on at Tranmere in the end and didn't make a single appearance last season and was farmed out on loan to Chester and Macclesfield but thats about it! I wish him well! Could be a decent replacement for Hewlett? Well, a diseased rhinoceres's left testacle would be a good replacement for Hewlett, but you get my drift!!

My expectations are high with the players we are after over the summer. Anything short of Powell (too late), simon cox and rio ferdinand is going to disapoint me.
