I heard a rumour that David Healy had been offered to Swindon after being freed by Rangers, but Creepy are apparently favourites for his signature. Would be quite a good signing for this level.

Not sure what i'd think if that happened... He would be on massive wages and probably wouldnt be much better than other strikers that we could attract.

Just found this.

Apparently Fleetwood as well as Creepy are after him so I doubt his wages could be THAT high.

Both Crawley and Fleetwood pay decent money to be fair, although 'massive' wages was an overstatement. Do think that the sort of wages we would have to pay him would be disproportionate to his ability or usefulness though. Was a decent striker at a time, no doubt, just think he's a bit over the hill and would be a flop. Would be more sensible to go for an young hungry striker that we could get an financial return on IMO. (James Collins) ect.

Doubt we'll sign him anyways, will most likely go to Crawley, who look like they are about to spunk money all over the place again.

James Collins would be excellent but rumours on the Shrews forum is that Watford are in talks with him and I am sure he would choose them over us. Time will tell though.

I expect he'll be off this summer, be it to a bigger league one club or championship club, would certainly be a coup for us if we could sign him. Although, speculation about who we can and cant sign is probably a bit premature at the moment. With there being shuffling of shares and little concrete information about what sorts of budgets we can expect.Should be soon though, then transfer silly season can really start!

That would be a sideways move for O'Kane.  Would be very surprised if he was interested.

He'll probably turn them down like everyone else seems to be doing.
