he got sent off for leeds, was a bad tackle but dont think it was a red card. the one the scunthorpe player didnt get sent off for on Timlin was worse
he was quality for crewe though
i'd be happy with him at left back.

Couldn't agree more DV. That tackle happened 5 metres in front of me and I thought it was a foul and at worst a yellow. Thought the red was very harsh, but everyone disagreed with me at the time! Agree about the Timlin tackle too, now THAT was a red card!

We do need 1 or 2 players like that though. When was the last time are players all had a brawl? Even that tackle on timlin didnt provoke a massive kick off.

alan sheenan: a very good player. we been lacking a bit of fight this season. prehaps he could reignite some fight in our players
chris westwood: been transfer listed by posh so we could sign him.
sergio torres: was rated as one of the best players outside the prem a few years ago is also transfer listed by posh, could be prove to be some good business if he can rediscover the form he had for wycombe.
billy clarke: released from ipswich, promising striker possibly.

Good players getting released all over the place.
Even if we don't sell the boy Cox we could put together a good team out of freebies.
For example, Reading have just let Scott Golbourne go, a left back who is just 21. He would have been at Bristol when Wilson was there (though not in the first team).

I mentioned young Golbourne on another thread so I'm inclined to agree. However, by this logic are we set to sign Clayton Fortune who's just been replaced by Darlington.

Adver today:
Meanwhile, there have been no developments regarding a move for star striker Simon Cox.
Elsewhere, the trio of Phil Smith, Craig Easton or Jean-Francois Lescinel have not signed their contract offers yet.
Shall we take it by omission than Kanyuka has or shall we just put this down to the Adver being fools?

I think kanyuke is likely to be offered a month to month deal or something.
