I liked Gabilondo especially after his performances against the scum and the slave traders, but he never really kicked on from there. Played well at Port Vale, but once Rooney came in and then Holmes, his chances were minimised even more...good luck Gabby!

Financial problems at Banik Ostrava that could influence a permanent move for Magera:
http://www.wsc.co.uk/content/view/8566/38/
The good news is that they won 3-0 last night, Magera apparently scoring twice, moving 3 points clear of the bottom 2.

Meanwhile clubs with more money than us allegedly after James Collins, though it could just be negotiating tactics from an agent:

Coventry and Watford are both broke and Sheff Utd are struggling for finances since relegation at the end of last season so if they don't go up in the play offs will be struggling even more.

I think there's every chance that the 'Paolo Di Canio factor' could lure players here ahead of other clubs. I certainly hope so anyway.

If Di Canio can get a Championship regular like Jay McEveley to drop two divisions and a 'Big time Charlie' like Bostock to knuckle down then we could be in for a good summer... Budget permitting.

Coventry may get a buyout from a Chinese group. Not that it necessarily is a good thing I suppose.

Yeah, but once they buy one player after a couple of hours they'll want to buy another one

Cliff Byrne has been released by Scunthorpe. Plenty of experience at this level, not every signing can be glamorous.

Injury issues up until March though.

With a name like that he must be over 60.

I swear that SkySports simply draw rumoured clubs out of a hat.

We seem to be mentioned a lot.

Its just like the FA Cup draw.  A pot of teams and a pot of random players .........

Swindon Town will be linked with Emile Heskey ...
