I’ve been to a few of the women’s games (honestly, mostly to see what my boy is like sitting through 90 minutes of football)
A mate of mine is involved with the set up & I check for their results on twitter.
However, I’d like their twitter handle (when on the home page) to be more decipherable from the men’s because I too have see ‘incoming’ and had a look to find it’s not our first XI
Have no interest in any other women’s football and wish I could bin it all off from the Sky Sports live score app. Particularly as they place is so highly as well. Like second after the Premier League.
At least have a men’s & women’s tab at the top or something…

…and fwiw (nothing) my mate told me when Clem originally bought the women’s team under the STFC umbrella (his first season) he promised them an additional £10,000 the following season (last season) for running costs / investment - which doesn’t seem like a massive amount in the grand scheme of things (if he ever stayed true to his word)

Morsheads monday column suggested 2 more were imminent. He talked about Delaney (but didnt say this would be one). Assume the other is the Cambridge lad talked about last week?
Preseason starts at some point next week, so i certainly expect some business to be done this week.

Local lad, he was linked but hes under contract still and an important part of the Cobblers team still, they want a lot of money for him, would have been a quality signing. The new name I heard mentioned would be a good addition if it comes off, a very experienced CB with more than the last 14 years in the Premier League and Championship. |
