Yeah agree with this, in fairness to Cowley. But we've only let a couple go recently and we need more than that in, so we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Minor grumble and I'm sure there is a reason why they do it, but I wish the club would announce the contract lengths of players signed.
Agree.Almost as annoying as "undisclosed fee"

Well, seeing as you’ve said I should actually read what you said, you can too…..

When we had no outgoings.....

As in most things in life things change.......sometimes quickly and frequently.....

We got several outgoings freeing up budget...

Therefore we can get a perm in......

So we're clear then, definitely no more perm signings without more going out?

As its only Darcy that has actually left permanently, I believe?

I actually like the sound of Kinsella and McEachran with a more forward thinking CM in front of them like Kemp or Cain.

Central midfield is one position we look half decent in barring any bad luck with injuries.
Promising signing.  Or should I say an experienced one.

Great news given our diminished expectations.

Saidou is another option in midfield, whether as a sub, to cover for injuries or even a starter.  It may also mean that when he loses possession, he will both be better covered than last season as well as being a little further away from our own goal area.

We still need some height in the team to become a threat from set pieces.

Of course not, we will magic up a budget to enable us to get those 5 or 6 quality signings that have been waiting for STFC to come calling.......

and to make us capable of defending them....particularly late in games.

Although hopefully a non Scott Lindsey preseason will help the fitness on that as well.

You are just making it up really aren't you  Wink

We could only afford Kinsella who has turned down Colchester because we released Ronan Darcy, is that what you are saying
