I presume the plan is for a Pay to Play Sponsorship opportunity to be presented to the fans, at least to get a spot on the bench.

Well, I'm not going to miss Darcy, it seems like Flynn's judgement is pretty much in line with the fans. But we do need some ins now please.

I mean, it didn't need a rocket scientist to realise we could bin off most of a squad that was comfortably in the bottom half of the table since January. There are still more in the squad that nobody should shed a tear on departing. The issue is, and always will be, ensuring we get quality in, urgently.

Still think there is a player on Darcy but we will see. If anything he reminds me a bit of Scott Twine when he was here. Not rated by most fans, ok at most things but not very good at anything. Not entire surely what his best position is….till Mike Flynn (ironically) got hold of him…

Twine could strike the ball and was a smidge younger. He did make a rapid improvement once he had time at Newport. Darcy looks flimsy. Good technique but cannot imprint himself on a game. Being that type of player, he really needs to have made it by now I think. Can't see him going upwards from this point. I could be wrong, but he just doesn't look able to impact mens football at this level.

The one thing we're well served for at the moment is small, technical midfielders and Kemp, Cain and McEachran all are/seem likely to be better than Darcy. So sensible one to shift out, wouldn't be shocked if he does hang around as a L2 footballer though if he can get a team to play him as a 10 alongside some harder working midfielders.

There is more of a player in Darcy than Adeloye, i'll give you that. A lurxury one maybe, but at least he looks like a footballer sometimes.

Darcy had one hood game where he hit 4 or 5 long range efforts all on target, and we scored from the rebound of one. Notable for his best game he didn't even score!
His first instinct was always to go backwards, not a good trait from an attacking midfield player. But something Lindsey loves it seems.
He would be the death of quick attacks and had no cutting edge. Good riddance.
Also adds hope we are bringing in 2 midfielders to support Khan, Kemp, Cain and McEachran. Kinsella as one and hopefully the other is more physical.

I’ve fond memories when I think of the word Cowley as I played countless gigs over the years on Cowley road in Oxford. The Bullingdon arms and of course The Zodiac, now the o2

You make him sound like Louie Reed. Comes with what I said about his best position. Is it as a #10 or is at the deep crab role?

I rated Louie Reed, so I take offence to this comment. Darcy was so obviously rubbish. Bolton fans told us that when he joined. I knew Lindsey was shit, and we were happy to blame SDM, but for Lindsey to come back and pay for Darcy. Damn crawley are in trouble.
