I was going to attempt to put a best XI out based on what we currently have but then remembered 2 important things.

1. We have no keepers
2. This is the transfer rumours thread.

Yes, quality rather than quantity for this season. For me I would like a commanding central defender like the Stockport County man Horsfall and a big strong striker up front. The guy that caught my eye last season was the Harrogate striker Luke Armstrong. He's got an interesting pedigree with quite a bit of non-league experience so he'll be used to the physical demands of playing up front. I am not always impressed with ex-Premiership academy graduates who aren't always tough enough.
Apart from that, we obviously need a goalkeeper either on loan or a permanent but with at least some experience and a midfield player who can pass accurately and switch play. That was what Ben Gladwin gave us and I think we missed his contribution. If Khan is still in crazy horse mode then we might need another ball winning midfield player to cover for his absences.
I hope that Minturn and Devine get more game time too and it would be reassuring to see some of the Academy graduates make their appearance but please God, not in major Cup competitions.

So we need to replace 45% of the team.....

Some of the players people have previously written off may look a lot better with some more experienced players to complement them, so don't think we need to offload loads.  Same goes for working under a competent coach/manager.

It's kit launch rather than any signings FWIW.

Brewitt?

Definitely would be nice to do kit launch with a brand new player.

Most likely with Austin as the most well known and highest profile player.

Keep in mind though that Flynn has already told some of them they can move on. So its not just fans writing them off, there will be multiple there that are not in his thinking.

I think Khan has potential but he fundamentally isn't a ball winning midfielder, so we need 2 of those!

Of course! Don't disagree that some will be offloaded and agree with Flynn's comments too. Just seen some that want a complete overhaul still.
