GK Tom King that we were rumoured to be looking at is set to join Wolves.

Yeah not sure either.

3rd choice English keepers that are never going to play are in vogue currently.

He'll probably play the Scott Carson third choice GK role.

See also: Lee Grant, Marcus Betinelli etc.

If 2 or 3 that should be playing in L1 can be persuaded to hop on the STFC Express then that would be very good.
Needs a good selling job on the project.

Why take 5 years to try & get to the Championship when it could be done in two.
Don't think that the club is ready for that kind of commitment but we'll see.

Glad he’s not coming here. Not many good reviews from Newport fans - reckon he’d be no. 2 there! Hope he doesn’t hop over to Day, either.

Day is an absolutely terrible keeper.

Interesting to see our signings on this day 11 years ago.
The specifics of the Collins deal show how team selection may not be so straightforward after a certain amount of appearances have been reached. Fans are not always privy to such information so can be baffled when a player is left out.

2012   James COLLINS   IN   Shrewsbury Town
£140,000
(initial fee of £140,000 plus £20,000 for every fifteen appearances, up to a maximum of sixty, plus 20% of any future profit)
2012   Gary ROBERTS   IN   Huddersfield Town
(unattached)
2012   Andy WILLIAMS   IN   Yeovil Town
(unattached)
2018   Jermaine MCGLASHAN   IN   Southend United
(unattached)
2019   Mathieu BAUDRY   IN   Franchise (Unattached)

A few loans at National League South level and lower, two Championship appearances for QPR a couple of seasons back. Rather surprisingly not Irish.

Jason Kerr Wigan

Someone’s floated us being linked with him on Twitter and the Wigan fanbase response is what I can only imagine we’d be like if Supermarine linked themselves with Charlie Austin

He linked him with a move to Walsall in Jan having had a look at twitter. So clearly someone Flynn rates.
