Who was the guy that Best Holdings brought in who we literally hadn't announced and just showed up on a teamsheet? That was a strange period.

It is the lack of ambition that hurts. Pay off all debt blah blah blah and be playing in the National League at this rate The flippancy in which you and other fans say this fucking astounds me. Yeah those cunts paying bills and debts

No good being fucking rich in non-league. Think all fans have put our money where our mouths our, so getting decent league 2 players now should be happening and not too much to ask

From Ryan Whelan
Swindon Town have accepted an offer from Sutton United for goalkeeper Lewis Ward subject to the acceptance of personal terms.
Lewis has been widely linked to Cambridge United if Mitrov moved on but the keeper now looks set to stay in League Two with Sutton United.

We won't go down, pretty sure of that, but from a fans perspective we've seen a huge chunk of the debt paid down last year, we're at an post premier league high in terms of attendances, the embargo has been lifted and we have a chunk of cash from selling Twine that wasn't factored into the pre season budget. We've been told that promotion is the target yet it really doesn't feel like it. If we are poor on the pitch then the fans stay away and the money dries up and it feels as though the balance isn't quite right.

Good luck to him. Seems to have a good attitude and just needs a heavy dose of confidence and he’ll do well for them. Encouraging to see McKirdy progress is slow. I don’t want to be here tomorrow being told that we have signed “the striker” if it’s an unproven youngster, when we need McKirdy AND a target man to be competitive this season. I’ll live in hope that we’ll end the day with a better strikeforce than we have right now. The club needs to make sure we do or we will lose the bumper gates we have been getting and any benefit of last season. I also hope once deadline day is out of the way, we hear something about the CG purchase, which we’ve not heard much about for some time…
