Is it really that bad? 1-2 game is sufficient IMO

If it had happened on the pitch, you'd be starting at a three game ban and working your way up, no different if it happens behind closed doors.

Well at least we can get used to playing without him for when he gets sold at the end of the window if he does get banned

Only difference on the pitch is that it’s recorded. This will surely follow the same logic as criminal proceedings and the burden of proof will be on EFL/FA. If they can’t categorically prove he did it deliberately they will be limited to just charging him with throwing a bottle.

Not really harming anyone though is it? Not much different to Di Canio subbing Wes off and him kicking the bottle? IMO headbutting another player could be worse punishment due to potential consequences (concussion, brain injury etc). All the ref has to do is go to the dry cleaners

Who wears a fucking suit to a football ground anyway? The ref deserves every bit of jizz on it for being a ponce.

It's obviously not right, but can't help thinking a cannier club would have found a member of the backroom staff willing to take the blame here...

Maybe, just maybe, someone in the club has some balls and ethics and has told him to take his medicine.  Behave like a petulant toddler, suck up the punishment.

Bernie can’t do that. It’s got the fingerprints of Jayo all over it, though.

We've been shit so far this season and he still has 2 from 5. Could've had more too.

Which equates to 18 goals a season. Which I'm sure we'd all take.

So what happens when we improve? for me, I can't see any reason he can't match or even surpass last seasons tally.

Don't forget, he didn't really get going last season until after the Bristol Rovers and FGR games.

Must keep.

Yeah, can't argue with this logic.
