He's recovering from a career threatening leg break. Who knows if we have an option etc. It's good value, low-risk cover and a chance for him to be a full-time footballer again for 6 months. He was incredibly highly rated earlier - if he recovers well, who knows...

He is on the way back from a serious injury so I guess if he proves his fitness and performs well when needed then it will be extended. Edit: just saw PP put almost the same thing. |
