Yeah I saw that, which is why I mentioned this as possible confirmation? Or just as likely it's someone completely different and one of the Abbey Hey players got wind of the mix-up and posted this as a wind-up? |

If, and it’s a big if, we sign him - I think it’ll be because Wellens sees Payne as someone who could play as a winger. |

I reckon we're just helping him with fitness, probably knows Hunt so with us in the NW it makes sense for both parties. Could also be that he just wants to play some football so may not want much in wages so with all the games in close proximity this season he's there with a view to bulking up the squad, in an ideal we probably want 2 teams worth of players so with Doughty, Grant, Lyden, Smith, Palmer and one more that would 2 reasonable midfield teams.
DJ & Payne will be wide forwards in a 433 IMO so not counting either in the midfield.
