Having a quick read up on him, it appears we're the only people who consider him a left winger. He's been a prolific striker for Millwall's reserves/U18. Scored in every round of the FA Youth Cup and had 17 in 20.

Maybe he has radical views on the redistribution of wealth and workers' empowerment?

Striker who can operate on the RIGHT wing when needed according to the Millwall website!

Quote
A product of the Millwall youth system who made his senior debut against Brighton in August 2009 at the age of 17.
Kiernan can operate either as a striker or on the right flank and spent the tail end of the season on loan at Cheltenham Town.
He will be looking to try and force his way into manager Kenny Jackett's first team plans this coming campaign.

The point of a trial is surely to see if he IS worth pursuing...someone must have seen something in him, and he has obviously done well in reserves etc...but we have looked at lots of triallists and rejected them.  Nothing is lost surely?

I love trialists in friendly games, we have had some great ones in the past that have slipped thro the net after playing for us.

Is that definite? Seems a weird one  to me if he wasn't considered good enough for League 1 yet last season by Millwall it's odd that we'd be chasing him on loan and only he's made only one career appearance. It's almost loaning a youth player of another league 1 team not sure what to make of that if I'm honest.....

Know what you are saying but maybe they wouldn't have let him go had they not gone up, and that this is his season to break through.

Who knows. Its only a trial anyway.

He had an exciting spell on loan last season.

Asked a Millwall supporting friend about him ... he's a young black kiddy who plays up front, NOT on the left wing, who they were considering loaning out to AFC Wimbledon. Drives a lamborghini too apparently.

There's nothing in the story, such as quotes, that even mention a move other than the one line. Either very bad journalism or the hack just threw the line in for fun.
