Well yeah anything to get him back. It’s clearly complete bollocks though as a new club could just get him to sign a pre contract agreement and get him for free in the summer. |

Some Southend fans think we will be in for Theo Robinson again but hes in the same boat as Doyle, played for Southend and Colchester already so can't join another club.

Some pillock on Bantams Forum saying "Swindon have signed Simon Cox. Swindon, Bradford and Doyle have moved on from this saga." Yep they may be partly right about moving on, but I don't think anyone will move on until Feb 1st (well Doyle might "move on" somewhere *ahem* here *cough*). Can't see Coxy rolling up here but like Doyle, he too could be looking at a final pay day and those 50 gls in 90 apps may haunt him. He's never quite done it elsewhere. Having around about 0.33 GPG record or less, here it was nearly 0.55. Both are pretty good and you can argue all in higher divisions. Combination of age, dropping a division, the club he has his best ratio at etc. Maybe that could create an equilibrium whereby Coxy could come and score for fun here. He's never played at L2 level. I bet he'd get 15 for us. |
