A striker (a decent finisher rather than a footballer) before the first game of the season please.

Wouldnt rule out Pitman either.

I suspect that the only Pitman we would have a chance of getting is Jenny!

She used to be a regular visitor at the County Ground as a fan when Willy Carson was at the club.

Jake Jervis told he is surplus to requirements at Luton.

Still only 27, Plymouth, Exeter and a few other L2 teams linked.

Not your typical target man but could do a job for Town.

The only sane reason for signing him is to stop him from scoring against us.

That and because he has turned into a fairly decent striker since he left us! not a great scoring record but a line leader who brings other players into the game, much like Heskey or Nile Ranger used to.

Luton fans say he was absolute dog shite. I am sick of us have line leaders  Cheesy

Theo Robinson is a line leader but scores more than Jervis. I would rather have him if that is the calibre of striker we are trying to bring in

I would prefer Robinson if it came down to it but he seems to be back in Southends plans under Bond.

As for Jervis the Plymouth fans love him and want him back there, mind you he did score at a rate of 1 in 4 for them.

There are far better options out there but just another name in the mix!

Didn't play against Weymouth. Played an hour against Billeracay and was in the second half XI against Reading.

They did make a bid of 25k which Posh owner said was a disgrace , he wanted nearer 250k.....

Doubt if FGR would have offered that...

McAnthony is convinced Stevens will notch 20+ in a L2 side - but he would say that, wouldn’t he.
