I like these signings as a bit of an unknown with exciting potential. haven't most Scottish players flopped in leagues 1 and 2 over the years? didn't Oxford sign a couple?

I think he was hinting more at strikers failing rather than Socts in general.

And Lee Peackock never played in Scotland even though he was Scottish FWIW.
