Not excited, not unhappy. I'm sure he'll prove useful at this level.

Comment from the Northampton forum:

Don't worry...Kasim doing a sterling job on the free kick/corner resposibilities!

Good luck Matty.

Sounds like a fair swap  Grin

Not as simple as ahead or instead of. He's a different type of player, and also won't play week in week out.

Quite.  I was merely speculating as to where he is likely to play in the team.

I still don't believe that any footballers are "fans" of any clubs, they just don't get the opportunity to become them as they are generally too busy playing.  The photo does suggest he might be guilty of some sort of mental child abuse though.

I we already have an ex-Oxford player (Purkiss). We might as well sign a fan while we're at it.

I'm fairly sure I watched a BBC Wiltshire footage of a pre-interview chat between Flitcroft and Sam Parkin where the new manager said he was going to live closer to Oxford.

Doomed.

Tbf as much as he tried to deny it, Constable was at least a Swindon follower (well I remember him telling us after his trial while he was at Chippenham how much of a dream it would be to sign for Swindon)

I'm not really too bothered but if he's shit the fans will probably turn on him a bit quicker.

A friend of mine who knows Matt, told me a few years back he's a bit of a tight arse.
He said when he was a Premier league player he sold his car to his own Mum and insisted she paid full price.

I'm not sure if its true but would seem a funny thing to lie about.

I had a look on Northampton's forum (when looking for news on Kasim) a few weeks back and it seemed they wanted rid of him as he was too slow and doesn't track back.
