Is that a joke?! Docherty is a defensive centre mid and probably past it. Would mean waving goodbye to Easton I'd have thought.
1. It is not a joke. It is only a rumour but not a joke. 2. He's 30. I would have no reason to believe that he's 'past it'. He's a good experienced player who Wilson must know very well. 3. It wouldn't mean Easton or anyone else going anywhere. That would defeat the whole idea of adding depth to the squad. |

Surprised he's as young as that. I don't think he shone at Wycombe and we've got all the depth we need for now in centre mid. On the flip side, his best period was at City under Wilson - so maybe he could do so again...
Craig Short is randomly manager at Ferencvaros, with some equally random Englishmen playing for him.

I'm pretty sure Byrne is a fan of Docherty's as well, I'm sure he mentioned being keen on him at a Trust Meeting once. |

Noticed that Caddis played for Celtic again tonight so don't think there's any chance of him coming here now!
Wonder how many players will come in by Monday? I'd like to see 2 or 3.
Possibly leaving us could be Aljofree, Peacock and maybe 1 or 2 others?

They were gutted when he left and it was not for footballing reasons I think he fell out with Waddock or someone else in the backroom. http://www.footballforums.net/forums/showthread.php?t=237315On another note I see Darren Ferguson is tracking Cuthbert and was there to watch him against Stockport  it was always going to happen that other teams start sniffing around our players hopefully this board will not see the pound signs like the last lot. |
