Newcastle United are Championship and unlikely to loan him to a division rival so I'd be begging, pleading and pulling out all the stops for Adam Armstrong.
Proven at this level.
Rangers have made a bid for Armstrong on loan, the Mike Ashley connection will help that probably. |

A couple of people on twitter were talking about Oli McBurnie of Swansea the other day, can't remember if it was a "I would like" kind of tweet or if they had heard some gossip though. He scored a couple of nice goals against Posh in the league cup on Tuesday and is another big centre forward type.

We did indeed miss out on a good one there, £3m up front with £2m add ons for a player that cost around £100k compensation from Brentford is a bloody good deal for Barnsley. (their fans proably rate him higher though!) |

I remember Morshead reporting that Mawson was suitably impressed before Lee Johnson out-geezered Power and enticed AM to Barnsley. Couldn't have worked out better financially but he'll be a big loss for them.
