He appears to be right sided CB / RB, so possibly filling in for Branco or even Barry at wing back if he is moved to CB.
6 foot 3˝ is tall for a fullback, cant think of many 6 foot 1+ fullbacks TBH. You could be right but I feel he is here to play CB.

If signed, he may of course prove to be better than we have already, in which case shouldn't be a problem.

Only negatives are a) what if he isn't and b) t denies our own players game time, which is important if you want to flog them.

I don't care much a about b..
a on the other hand..

Hopefully a much-needed upgrade on Branco. Just need cover for JSW now.

I think you are right, didn't clock his height.
I'm assuming then that Branco could be out for some time.

How tall was Rod Thomas, he was a big lad (tall).

Not as tall as today's generation of giants, but in his time taller than most full backs.

I think Rod was just over 6 foot to 6 foot 1. I never saw him play for Swindon just against us.

Superb signing.
Keshi Anderson on loan would be good, wouldn't it?  Wink

If this could happen before tomorrow we would have a decent eleven to start

That was in the Liverpool Echo a few weeks back and discussed on here. As we are only getting him on loan and thus benefit little from his development I would bloody well hope he is better than what we already have otherwise there seems little point taking up a loan spot with him!

Another possible Liverpool loan deal reported today:

Liverpool youngster Cameron Brannagan is set to join Wigan on a season-long loan deal.

The midfielder is expected to link up with the Championship outfit this weekend, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The Latics have agreed to Liverpool’s “75 per cent” clause, whereby clubs are penalised financially if a player they have loaned does not play in a specified ratio of matches, having initially refused.

Rod is a tall chap.  Andy Nicholas was quite tall and came from Liverpool and was a full back.  I had hopes for Nicho, but somehow it went wrong.

Is Jones a Scouser?  If so one is enough  Smiley

If he is even half as good as Shaun he will be a hero.
