someone was asking if Stewart was gong to be playing tonight...

In fairness it was rumoured we had signed Turnbull back the day before the Liverpool game, and the day after he's playing for us. We don't know how far along the transaction is. He could just be on his way over here to sign the paperwork. If that was done this morning, who knows!

Doubtful.

We've had quite a lot of information from Glentoran's end which suggest they are still in the earlier stages of a deal and I very much doubt Town put that much pressure on Stewart after what appears to be quite emotional few days for him.

Also, wouldn't Town need to get international clearance?

Jay, the lad plays in the equivalent of our conference they are part time so his fitness etc is no where near good enough to not even get on the bench at the moment, he will be introduced gradually as Hylton and non leaguers before him was

There is a huge difference between Turnbull and Stewart - it will take him a while to get used to being a full time pro for starters and to get to a decent level of fitness before putting any pressure on the lad to get some goals in L1.

Yes.

Yes.

I suppose it's a FIFA regulation, to make the transfer of brown bags of cash easier.

Jordan plays for our arch rivals so  I hate him, but got to admit the kid is special, in our league anyway. Only thing that he lacks is that burst of pace but his trickery more than make up for that.

Some clips of him

He seems to enjoy making opposition players look silly.

Lacks pace? He certainly gets to the opposition fans pretty quick to wind them up

Jordan Stewart could be one of those cocky, talented players who opposition fans will absolutely detest but would all want in their team.

He says, wishfully.

Sadly I would agree with you, detest him with a passion but you just wish he was in your team and not against you.

I twinned Swindon with Glentoran on FM and there was a glut of excellent young Irish players in my team within a couple of years. Sold a 17 year old midfielder to Real Madrid for 25m after he'd played about 7 games.

Just sayin'.

I'm currently dominating all things Northern Irish with Crusaders with Miles Storey and Nathan Thompson in my team, both initially loans.
