I don't know what to think. Bradshaw is the right kind of player but we're never going to get players from similar clubs*, especially when we can't afford to up bids by much (probably).
* Long term L1/L2 sides.
I look forward to Walsall's board to openly mock the bid.

It all feels a bit "Donaldson".

Based on very little at all (mainly football manager and one review from a Walsall fan) would be a cracking singing if we could pull it off.

So how come we can bid for a top L1 striker but haven't got the money to sign Eckersley.
Don''t add up

Eckersley's wage demands, I suspect are higher than we're willing to pay I suspect.

Maybe. But if we're serious about paying serious money for a player, surely we would be aware he would expect serious wages.
This is PR at its worst

He's probably asking too much. He's just come back from playing in the States and let's face it you only go there for a pay day! So he's probably asking for top end League 1 wages!

WTRRA @WTRRA just now WTRRA understands no contact made between #STFC and Bradshaw because reported bid turned down so you can't fucking talk to him ... arse!
That must be why it's called twitter, because it's full of twits.

Almost certainly means a bid was made then if Bassam has said that!
