Not a scarf above the head shot, but it'll have to do

I reckon he's just  read he wording on the shirt, and he's wondering if he's signed for a gay pride undercover movement.

Hmm... I thought the first of his quotes were going to open up to suggest his head could be turned at any time, although, reading further it seems as though he wants to stay and achieve promotion which sounds positive :-)

I think we know the situation. if a championship team comes in with the right cash neither the club or the player will say no

Yeah LP has made no secret of the fact that the right bid comes in then he will be off but only if its right for the club and the player.

I am suggesting that £2m+ would prise the prize. Based on the fact that 1. he is worth at least that, 2. he is an experienced quality regular international player now, 3. the alleged transfer fee from Spuds was £100k up front with add ons based on international appearances and sell ons etc rising to £400k, the sell on being 40% apparently.

So for £2m the club would likely get £1m out of the deal profit (£2m - £400k fee - £600k sell on fee to Spuds).

Given that we have Swift until the end of the season, that would be a far from disastrous scenario.*

*I would much prefer that we hold on to the player for now obviously, as does Power I'm sure.

We're coping well without him and obviously we can't turn down silly money, but it would be nice to have a few quality players under contract should we manage to win promotion. That said, I'd drive him to the buying club myself if we could sign Turnbull, Stephens and Toffolo with the money.

Problem is, Swift doesn't seem able to last 90 minutes at the moment and we would be short of midfielders if Mass left.

We already have our full complement of loanees and as we know the window shuts in 2 weeks.

So if Mass does leave late on in the window we'll have no replacement, numbers wise

I've made the point before that I think we should all be pretty confident with Power in charge, that any out going transfers that do happen (if they happen) will be beneficial to the Club.

I have a sneaky feeling* that we may just sign Toffolo permanently before the window slams shut, regardless of whether we sell anyone or not.

*Based on absolutely nothing other than a 'feeling in my water'.

I prefer to put it down to us signing Toffolo but it's more likely that  No
