I see Glen Little has been released by Pompy, would be an OK signing for a season - he's about 34 now so can't really see a championship club taking him.

Bad news is though that a few Leeds fans on another forum reckon he was on 11k a week there. No way can we afford that kind of wage.
Sort of wage that is ruining football. He should be an international on that sort of money.

Nobody else in this division is stupid enough to pay those sorts of wages except perhaps those who have come down and thnik they'll go straight back up. Oh, and Huddersfield!

Saying on one of the Pools boards that a deal for a cast iron left back has fallen through, wonder if DW has done a huddersfield on them?

Are there any decent players left at Southampton we should be making stupidly low bids for?
Must be some bargains to be picked up there.

That Michael Rose from Stockport was very close to joining Hartlepool, but I can't find confirmation of his actual signing. He was one of Wilsons original targets so maybe its him...

Isn't it amazing how many Stockport players are being picked up.
If we were in their situation how many players would have teams in our division scrapping over them?
Not too many I'd warrant.

Not sure about that. Ifil Greer Mcnamee Paynter Easton Obviously Cox Those players could all get themselves League 1 clubs I would think.

I dunno, I still think someone would bid a cheeky 50k to try and get Ifil based on the fact that fans of other clubs seem to rate him pretty highly. Think a few managers would fancy themselves to cut out his momentary lapses as well, which is obviously where he falls down.
As for Easton, pretty much basing that on Leyton Orient's love for him.
