I'm pretty sure at the end of the season a hell of a lot of people were saying that the vast majority of the squad were distinctly average and now so many people (not just on here) are crying about them leaving?
I'll save my doom and gloom until I see who replaces them. Only player so far to leave who I'm disappointed in is Ferry, all the rest are easily replaceable.

Quoted so I can drag it up at a later date  Leaving aside not being able to afford them, I've note seen a defensive backbone that was as strong as Wes, Ward, Devera/Flint, and McCormack. True we were a bit more exposed last season than in division 4, but we were still more solid than I can remember for many a year. That's why I think we will find it hard to replace them (though Ward and Wes haven't gone yet). |

Keep Wes, Ward and Thompson and you have an extremely good base to build upon for the back. |
