Sam from the Adver reporting no truth in Barnard rumours (so he is told), bring on Souleymane!

It's going to end in tears

Well the second bit of info is less random, but I'd be very surprised if pdc has been on youtube again.
It was on the transfer rumours site earlier too.

Doncaster in for Paynter, would be a very good signing back in League One.

Yup, maybe in the last year of his three year contract he can put some effort in after two years of mediocrity.

Loved Billy....his work rate was brilliant.

SUPER BILLY PAYNTER....shame how he left though and pissed me off big time when and how it happened.

Paynter scored nearly 30 goals in a season for us.  I think he must be the most unpopular player ever with that record.  The partnership with Austin was brilliant - and it was a partnership.  We all remember Austin fondly, I think we should acknowledge Billy's part in it as well.

Apparently Paynter had a medical today with Donny and will be anounced on Monday.

3/4 of a good season out of 3, even then his brain switching off at the end and going on holiday to Leeds?

To be fair he was pretty decent the season before just without the goal scoring exploits. Ask Coxy.

Injured in his first full game, a bad tempered 2-0 defeat at Morecambe, hobbled off and left the ground on crutches with a possible reccurance of his knee injury.

I also hear all is not rosey in the PNE camp, lots and lots of players unhappy with Westley yet they are still 3rd or 4th favourites for promotion this season.
Trundle injury confirmed now, out for about 4 months after knee surgery on knee ligament damage.

I also hear that Billy Paynter could be on his way to Blackpool after turning down Donny Rovers, apparently he is after over £7k per week which Donny could not afford.
