He's been in the country longer than Manuel Almunia and he fancies playing for England.
However, I take your point- the price is more inflated by having an english club selling (particularly one like Sunderland with no financial concerns)

Surely Huddersfield couldn't afford him?

Doesn't matter whether they can or not Luci. Cox wants to play as high as he can and wouldn't want to leave us just to join another 3rd Division club. And AF has stated that he'll only sell if it's right for us and the player.

I know pretty much that Fitton wouldn't sell to a rival nor would Cox really want to go to Huddersfield (heres hoping anyway) but just makes me wonder how they could afford him and his wage demands

If Huddersfield want him enough then the chairman has the money.

They are seriously minted. Probably spent more than any other League one club last season (With the possible exception of Leicester) they got the cash, but not the appeal.

Agreed, I've been to Huddersfield a few times for work, I wasnt impressed. Not many players are going to want to go there even if they're offered a serious wage.

League 1 clubs and Bristol City - These are who we shouldn't sell him too and don't think we will. Leicester are welcome to keep bidding until they get it right

This was taken from that rogue rumour site Swindon town will announce the triple signing of danny webber ,david noble ,andy nelson late next week, Also contact with westbrom could well see the sale of simox cox going to westbrom in a player cash deal.
