Yeah that's right.
It does feel a bit like two seasons doesn't it?
There's been a lot of change at the club, and I suppose it's coincided with me having spare cash for drinking and going (but not going to football) before becoming unemployed and skint.
But yeah, it's definitely been a long one. I'm hoping I can get back into it a bit next season. I've definitely lost the going lots bug, but I'd like to see 10ish home games next term. I'm not going to force myself though, I long ago lost the guilt for missing a game.

Gist though, season tickets are very much in the interest financially of the club, not in the interest of the fans.

Gist though, season tickets are very much in the interest financially of the club, not in the interest of the fans. I think it's to be expected with any business. From management's perspective they have to do what they can to achieve the business' goals. Taking your point, if anyone buys a season ticket after 1 Aug the price increase is very significant indeed. Clever marketing that. This post is in no way cynical of the pricing strategy however. |
