McLaren don't have the advantage of having stolen all of Ferrari's information this season.  Sad

Interesting to see the outcome of the investigation.  Hope for his sake (Alonsos) he didn't brake.

Apparently Renault have been parading the telemetry around showing he had his foot to the floor so it looks like  a combination of bad traction from Alonso and a Hamilton mistake (i.e.  a  racing incident).

Hamilton himself was pretty non committal in laying blame.

What I want to know was, did Hamilton stuff up the start, or did the McLaren have an issue? He's still learning, especially without the box of tricks this year, so my guess is the former.

I think I read that Hamilton forgot to switch on the anti stall button in the cockpit. He had a bad weekend all round, now to see  if he has the character to bounce back.

I guess his inexperience has started to show a bit of late.  I hope he can keep his head and get himself back on track.

I didn't see the whole race as spent a lot of it on the M6 however from what I saw he was pretty off the pace as well in comparison to Ferrari.

He was, though a witch on fuel strategy didn't help. JKovalainen struggled too, for consistancy. He did set the fastest lap though Huh?  In fact the BMWs beat the McLarens fair and square which must be concerning.

The season proper starts in 3 weeks - back to Europe. We'll see what change in fortunes the 'steps' bring, if any.
