Since MMs arrival we've only lost twice at home, once unluckily against Leeds and once deservedly against Walsall.

Before his arrival our away form was shit, having only won away once.

Sure we've drawn too many games, but it isn't as bleak as some people paint it.

Yeah, Sturrock was a good manager, but he didn't want to be here, no point in bringing him up every time a result goes against us.

We lost away to a team chasing a play off spot, hardly surprising is it?

Roll on next season.................................

13pts from his 13 games in charge, cant really count the Notts Forest win.
Only 3 wins and 2 clean sheets, this from a side who was only 4 points off the play offs with games in hand. I'm not a Malpas basher but this is not impressive, especially seeing he got off to a flyer with an unbeaten run. Malpas needs to be his own man, get rid of those muppet assistants behind him, the players seem totally confused when they arrive on the pitch, you would think they hadn't discussed anything about the opposition or the system they are going to play during the build up to the match or in the changing room before they went on the field.

As regards talking about Sturrock.

For me because its part of our history. It makes us what we are. Whats the point in bothering with STFC at all if the past isnt important? Besides these are the managers we know about. The ones we watched week in week out, so of course Malpas will be compared to them.

Looks to me you lot would rather do a block ears manouvre and shout Im not listening. Honestly if you place no value in our history, then I cant see what the point of professional football is? It was fantastic to see the club do a romantic gesture today and rename the south stand. Weve been put through financial misery in the past, and as a result many of our fans are pragmatic in the extreme. We dont talk about our history enough.

Sturrock took us up so he achieved something. Which puts him head and shoulders above Wise, Iffy, King, Evans, Todd and Quinn. He was also a fantastic leader who united the whole club. Fair enough you want to get some positivity on Malpas (Id like to as well). But dont talk bollocks cos you'll just look like an idiot.

Yep. With Gills winning today someone is going to go down with a lot of points. 3 teams are cut adrift, but one will go down with 55ish points. Its unlikely it will be us because there are 6 other teams that could take that spot.

Yes its unlikely. But we do need 3 wins or 2 wins and 2 draws to stay up. We need to wake up fast.

Make your mind up - the unbeaten run was as much a product of the "muppet assistants" as the early Malpas era. Not quite sure what your point is here and I'm not sure you are either

Oh, do get a grip. There's one relegation spot left and the odd stray victory against a side already relegated in all but name does nothing to convince me that Gillingham are out of that battle

The muppets weren't very impressive before Malpas arrived sir.
My point is who is in charge - is it Malpas? from watching the line during the games it doesn't seem like it to me.

Gillingham are doomed-they are a side of non-league players in lge 1,even their own fans have given up hope.

Its only a few years ago that Rushden & Diamonds were in a play off position just before New Years Eve they eneded up getting relegated. Lose the next four or take just a couple of draws and we will only be 3 to 5 points from relegation, simple mathematics really, we can't keep a clean sheet at the moment and dont look like scoring that many either, put that with our record over the last eight games which is the worse than any other side in this division, then Gillingham could well be a six pointer.

Swansea? Forest? 9 games unbeaten? it was you who talked about Malpas "getting off to a flyer with an unbeaten run". Make your mind up

As I said Im not posting to slag-off Malpas, I never have slagged any Swindon manager.

How many draws in that 9 games unbeaten run, how many points?
