Team of the week crap.

How can Ifil and Cox get in the team of the week but McNamee not get a mention.

Show me a better winger in this league at this time and prove me wrong.

Is it supposed to be the same team from the News of the world?

I was going to post the same thing but decided I couldn't be bothered. Does seem odd that Macca is tearing defences apart and getting no credit. Sometimes I wonder if these teams are picked from the highlights on the Championship on a Sunday morning!

Jan... Show me a better winger in this league at this time and prove me wrong.

Lewis McGugan?
Simon Hackney?
Chris Commens? (or is it Kris)
Jason Price?
Darren Pratley?
Leon Britton?

Just a few that spring to mind... Macca looks very good but lets see it week in, week out next season before we say he's the best in the business.

Hate to be pedantic, but hardly any of those are wingers.

Its a fair point Brittan was a Home Secretary for a bit in the 80's...right winger maybe.  I hated that cunt.

Possibly true Lebowski, I'm only basing it on players who I've seen take up a wide role against us. As I say, I like McNamee but he's hardly proven.

Steven Gillespie of Cheltenham has been scoring and setting them up all season, so i'd say he's one of the best wingers in this league...

Jason Price? He has a surprising bad touch for a big man. And he's out for the season too so probably unlike to make team of the week...
