I honestly didn't think alot to it.
A few good bars up by the Nottingham 'eye' but nothing special.
Years ago I used to go to Snottingham a lot....what fascinated me was that it was one of the few places where the population of women was higher than that of men. Apparently it was because of teh traditional lacemaking industry, which was female intensive labour. Quite why it stayed that way after the industry dies out I never really understood. It did seem to have a lot of shops though..
I mainly used to get completely wrecked.... it was always good for student parties, I recall going to one such event with a mate who was a mad mathematician.....he was dressed as Count Dracula....it wasn't fancy dress, just his day clothes.
Anyways he's navigating and we end up going the wrong side of a dual carriageway, and happily pootering along as everything speeds past in the other direction. Fortunately, no OB about , and the trouser legs could be freed of the brown stuff at the next roundabout.
I liked Nottingham and very nearly moved there, but fate took me in a different direction.
