I really dont see an issue with kick off at 2pm.  Its only an hour FFS!

The more I think about the kick off situation the more it gets on my nerves

What is the point in kicking off an hour earlier?

If the police think that there is that much chance of trouble why isnt it a 12.30 kick off?
And why do they think there will be so much trouble compared to us playing Bristol rovers for example?
Why?
Why?
Why?

God knows but an hour doesn't make any difference either way. From a violence perspective or a fans wanting to drink perspective!

Same here, as it doesn't seem to make any difference to anything the police might be involved in. Unless they pay extra after 5pm?!  Cheesy

The point of moving it to 2pm is try and stop people from getting as drunk as they can do for a 3pm kick off.

It does make a difference if u have been drinking the night before,  sometimes its hard to wake up and start drinking straight away!

It hasnt been moved to 12.30 kick off because of the distance involved.  Dont want to upset the majorty of law abiding leeds fans and make them leave too early.

There was trouble at leeds and police are expecting more trouble at the GC because of this.

I also heard rumors leeds fans are gonna be in town end, it happened at Northampton aswell.

From http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/northamptonshire/7237444.stm
Police in Northamptonshire arrested 18 Leeds United football fans before and during the club's clash with Northampton Town.
Two supporters were detained outside the Sixfields ground before the game for threatening behaviour.

Two more were arrested during the match for threatening behaviour.

Some 14 are being questioned about violent disorder following an incident at a pub in Semilong, said a Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman.

She added that 10 visiting supporters were thrown out of the ground during the first half after they were found in the home stands.

The wetherspoons open early doors so we can all still get bladdered before hand.  As its a big game it would be rude not to have an early start  Beers
