I did think at first it was Pook going off, but he was going towards the touch line too quick for it to be a sub.

Plus it had to be McNamee, dont think we'll ever get a full 90 out of him.

On what basis? I think he's looked fitter every game (ooh errr)

looked way way better with jp back on the wing. him and comminges combine superbly, whereas roberts' style doesn't allow commingues to overlap which he is so effective at

thought everyone had a good game to be honest - after the first minute and the odd decent bit of play from brooker town were never in much trouble. pook did the simple things very well today

What a good performance. Everyone played well. We looked to get the ball on the deck and we played some very good stuff in the second half it has to be said. Cox and Paynter looked handy again upfront.

blah blah blah, the company I work for having links with Watford blah blah blah.

His asthma is very bad, apparently so bad that 90 minutes of football would pretty much leave him close for dead!

mcnamee was awesome - had their left back scared shitless - and then roberts came on and ran him ragged and stuck it past the keeper.

really enjoyed tonight other than the first 3 minutes.

Hmm when was McNamee subbed? 80 mins? I'm not convinced, I reckon he'll play a full 90 by the end of the season.

On the night, McNamee showed everything a good winger should. Good first touch, quick feet and speed, hardly ever got robbed of the ball, and got in many dangerous crosses, one of which Paynter headed home. Always in the game. If he keeps it up, a gem. Zaboob please note the above.
Pook did very well, even his passing was generally very good, besides ball winning.
Those two, plus the good combination of Paynter and Cox, were the reasons we won IMO, the rest were not very impressive except for the Robers cameo at the end.

I thought the ref had a good game, although it wasn't the most difficult to take charge of.

Quite a few of our players seemed knackered in the last 20 minutes, and Ifil didn't look his most dominant self.

Apart form the first 5 minutes, a good overall performance and comfortable win, should set up our confidence for Saturday, but without Cox it will be tougher - Sturrock to start ?

Sturrock and Paynter I should imagine. The only other option would be to perhaps play Roberts in a free role behind Paynter?

There weren't any bookings tonight either were there?  Even better.

Oh and after actually being awake long enough to see soccer night, I did find Paynter and Hasneys celebration after his goal amusing.

I couldn't see properly from the TE however part of me thinks thats not a bad thing judging by his underpants!  Cheesy
