I cant see his point at all Arriba.

This is all happening 5 years too late. If the council wanted full or greater payment of debts owed, they shouldnt have agreed the CVA should they? I believe matey was on the council at the time?

Why should fitton give money to the poor of penhill just because he is rich and bought a business that had major problems 5 years ago?

Its just smacks of the worst kind of socailism, whereby comrade Glaholm expects the rich to give money to the poor simply because he has more money

i can see his point.i dont agree with it.big difference

No it isnt, you grumpy turd burgler

He wants an £300k off fitton because the previous owners signed a legally binding agreement with the council to only give them £100k.

Note the term legally binding.  The fact that Fitton can afford to pay the other £300k is neither here nor there.   Hes talking bollocks

It's because he goes on about helping deprived areas and then indulges in the very activities you would expect to find in such deprived areas. Instead of helping these areas he is making the problem worse.

i'm assuming that the councillor can see a figure owed by the club.he represents a poor area of the town.so thinks that money could be used there.he's looking out for the people he represents.
i dont agree with him because the cva was agreed making those figures he has seen irrelivant.
plus i dont think the money should go into penhill anyway. if any money was to be refunded it should be for the tax payers gain.it was their money after all.

Just a load of piss and wind from a councillor trying to get his name in the papers.

As usual Fittons response was spot on.

You see this is where I get all a bit pissy about things.

Fucking Nimby

Bleats on on and on about underpriveledged areas such as Penil etc.

But does it from the luxury of his nice new pad in Haydon End

Fucking hypocrite

And to save you trawling through it the survey is in Appendix 1, page 16. Demonstrates revenues of nearly £10m pa, based on an average gate per season of c 146,000 for the seasons 01-06 (ie about 5800 per home game including two home cup games), whereas now gates are increasing (avg 7200 this season), so 175,000 and heading up would probably be more realistic, ie about £12m.
