Not a job interview as such but I've been asked to do a 10 minute presentation on your weakest point and how you intend to overcome it.

My dilema is shall I be honest and risk being torn to shreds over my plan, or do I play it safe and pick something I could improve on but am not too bad at.

Also what is the stock answer given on these sort of questions?

Play it safe.  Something you are weak at but can come up some easy ways of correcting it.

Tell them that your weak point is giving presentations, and that this is the ideal way of addressing it.

Tell em your weakest point is your knee, and how you will use exercise etc to improve it. Job done.
