Erm....... Could I point out to people that the plan is for Championship football in 3 years.
We're one promotion away from that, so promotion this season is not a requirement, although it would be a nice bonus. What is needed this season is to clear the decks and to start sorting out the organisation of the club from top to bottom
TBH I'd have been a bit worried if after making a load of statements about the need for sound business practices this new board had started throwing money about on transfer fees before they'd even got the debts paid off.
If the board work their way through their 10 point plan tick list between now and the start of net season I'll be happy whether we're in league one or the championship. Agreed. I also cant help but think we'd look like a championship version of Derby if we got promoted this season ie in need of virtually a whole nw team |

I'm just amazed we are signing players, let alone offering money for them. The ambition being show right now is to get the club back on firm footings.

This club is still losing money and will do so until it is run sensibly. Spending big wages and transfer fees on players won't help the situation. Getting rid of players who we are wasting money on and gradually building a successful team who can hope at a higher level is what is needed, and seems to be what Fitton is doing.
