I once missed a game for the same reason. We were playing away and the clapped out student car I was using at the time wasn't going to make the 100 odd miles to the game. So instead my brothers and I went to Reading vs Mansfield that afternoon, just 20 miles away, to get some football.
And our score that day? Birmingham 4-6 Swindon.
Truly gutted.
Edit: The 'same reason' I was talking about had to do with a clapped out car, nothing at all to do with KY jelly. Just thought I'd clear that one up.
