Reading Mate sent me this: http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/readingfc/2020/2020486/cox_edges_closer_to_joining_swindon?rss=yesReading FC Cox edges closer to joining Swindon
SIMON COX could be allowed to leave for Swindon Town on a permanent deal at the end of the month, writes NICK IVE. The 20-year-old Reading-born striker is desperate for first-team football and knows his chances are limited as fifth-choice striker at Madejski Stadium. Cox was a hit on loan at the Robins last month and the League 1 side are keen to tie up a £150,000 deal for his services. Swindon’s new chairman Andrew Fitton has publicly expressed his desire to land Cox. But Royals boss Steve Coppell said: “With due respect to the chairman of Swindon, he shouldn’t be saying that sort of thing because he’s our player. “If he wants to get in touch then we can discuss it. We don’t do business in the newspapers.” However, Coppell admitted: “He (Cox) is at a crossroads. He wants to play. He’d love it to be here – but if not, he’d like to try somewhere else. We’ll see what happens in the transfer window.

A quick glance at their forums tells me that although they will be dissapointed to see him go, they are pretty much resigned to it.
Also that it'll be a shame cos' he's a local (reading) lad, one for the future but not good enough for the Prem (Yet).

Other than saying Lita is not going to leave and that they will be searching supporters for drugs

Coppell has told Cox he can't go anywhere until a replacement striker has been brought in for Lita.

Thing is though it sounds like Coppell is saying that with some real tone in his voice and some expression but i bet if you saw that interview in person there would have been no life in it at all. He is the most boring manager for interviews this country has seen.
