couldn't afford it sadlly. i've been to warsaw a few times now anyway, sounds as if i missed a cracker though.

did you see DMR's chesterfield pie reference in another thread?

I just found that.  I feel slighted.  They were from Standish (where me. Santini (and Lloyd) hail from)) and it was Lloyd who got them for me and it was Oldham not Chesterfield and if DMR had some he had a bit or yours or Whits (ooh err!), because he was too scared to speak to me because I had just called him a waste of sperm.

So, in short, get your orders in on here before we play in the North West again.

And that's a propos of what, exactly.  By the way - why don't you engage in conversation any more when we pass?

Definitely Oldham - because Lloyd came and he/she wouldn't come to Chesterfield.

Now, Tranmere.  Meat or Meat and Potato?

I'm guessing that's the Standish in Lancs, rather than the Standish in in Glos, which is a thoroughly wholesome place.....havem't been there for years, but there used to be a great pub with a beer garden  at a junction of the Bristol-Glos maimline and the Swindon-Glos branch.

Ace for copping a few numbers, and whiling away a balmy summer evening.
