the premiership's more important because of $$$$ rather than the number of fans that turn up

and to be fair, i'd rather be challenging myself at the top level week in week out for years, rather than a one-off glory and then back to relative mediocrity and obscurity in the championship

In your opinion.

Theres plenty of mediocrity and obscurity in the Premiership.

Id rather have an FA Cup medal if I was a player.

It worries me that football fans of lower league clubs emphasise with people like Kitson. If ££££ is that important then why would you support a no cash lower league club?

I know its more important to the board members. But why is it important to YOU? Why do you buy into the corrupted mentality?

Ok. Well you said - "i'd rather be challenging myself at the top level week in week out for years, rather than a one-off glory and then back to relative mediocrity and obscurity in the championship".

But the problem of keeping clubs like Reading in the top flight is that they will get relegated sooner or later. Any memories a player might have of finnishing 16th of whatever will be tainted by the fact that they got relegated. A win in a final is a crowning moment of glory, no one can ever take it away from you. Going back to being a Town fan, we try and put a positive spin on our year in the top flight. But the moment you mention it to a supporter of another team you know whats comming......

The players at Reading look like rats on a sinking ship at the moment. Sidwell was the first, accepting mega ££££ to go play reserve football. Kitsons constantly sickening about his love for spurs (come and get me). Lita wants away. They are like prostitutes, touting themselves to other clubs trying to get the mega wages. Not interested in glory for themselves or the fans at Reading. Where is the pride? Fucking pathetic.
